Who we are

MISSION

Live to inspire.

Live with intention.

Love God, Love People, Serve Others.

VISION

We are community centered.

We are intentional about creating a community that is positive and strong from the inside out. All for one and one for all. We love God, love people and serve others through faith, love and fitness. The real gym is not the building and the equipment, it is each and every person who comes through our doors. We live each day with intention and to inspire others.

We are nutrition focused.

What that means is we place a high value on nutrition education and practice. We want you to succeed. Nutrition is the foundation of everything that we do: the quality of your life is greatly determined by the quality of your nutrition. Nutrition is the key to achieving results and long term success. We don’t believe in FAD diets here; we believe in creating healthy lifestyle habits that are sustainable. We incorporate nutrition education into our classes and seminars, in our Foundations Program, and through individualized nutrition coaching.

We are movement driven.

We assess your current ability (flexibility, balance, strength, coordination) and make a plan to help you first move better (learn technique), then move often (consistency), then move faster (intensity). Lastly, once we see you move well, consistently, and with intensity, then we start modifying loads. We are here to educate you and make sure you are moving correctly and safely. We strive to meet the needs and goals of all of our athletes and improve your athletic performance, so that you can become the best version of yourself and live everyday with intention.

VALUES

Integrity: We want you to be your best, authentic self; strong in heart and mind.

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans 12:2

Perseverance: We remain patient in the pursuit of excellence; we continue to work towards the goal despite how hard or how long it will take.

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” James 1:2-4

Self-Discipline: We do not believe in short-cuts. We know anything is possible when you consistently show up and work hard.

“Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.” 1 Corinthians 24-27

Kindness: We are a family; we support one another, never in judgement, and build each other up. Be the light.

“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” Ephesians 4:2

Steadfast: We value commitment and loyalty; we understand the importance of showing up and working towards bettering yourself.

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16

At New Horizon Athletics, we place a high priority on developing and working towards these values within our members and as an employee.⠀
